New Rock Edge: Episode 4: Essence Of Equality Part 1: Racial Descent
Hey Guys!
So on today’s episode we will start off with a two part series. Throughout the rest of the season there will be more two-part episodes but this is going to be the first one. In this episode we will be looking at individuals and artists who have made great contributions to the face of new rock but are from a racial descent. This episode is not meant to segregate but promote a cultured spotlight to these artists. This episode will divide into segments such as African-American/Canadian/etc, Asian (particularly Japanese, Chinese, and Korean), and Indian. There will also be a showcase of a hybrid of these (different racially diverse cultures working together on a piece of music or in a band). We will also have showcase artists who have contributed, made a new image, and/or is rising to become something great in the world of music in the not too distant future.
Some artists that we will hear include K-os, Queen, Hoobastank, Soundgarden, and Billy Talent.
