LAUNCH Update
Success!
The launch began at 9am this morning Jan 8th. We had quite the turn out. The music was great, the DJ's were awesome and the amount of effort and work that went into the station showed. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to Radio Laurier and the volunteers for making this happen.
We are officially broadcasting 24/7 from here on in so please tune in any time! This weekend there is non-stop music focusing on the best albums all the way until Monday Jan 11th at 9am when the morning show will kick off the day with live programming.

On behalf of the volunteers we would like to thank you Carla, and Radio Laurier for giving us the opportunity to be part of this “new beginning”. From the launch today, it looks like there is no doubt it will be a success and a tribute to the hard work and dedication of those who put effort in to making it part of the community.
Plus, you have some really cute DJs, and the online coordinator is to die for.
Glad to hear everything went smoothly. I’ve been listening whenever I’ve been at a computer but unfortunately I couldn’t make the concourse event today.
DJs are sounding great but by far I’m most pleasantly impressed by all of the fanastic music on display. Antony and the Johnsons is playing to me right now, and there’s no way I would have heard them playing on the Radio Laurier I used to know. Which is awesome. The station has really taken a great new direction and its transformation is tangible.
Glad to see RL has a bright future ahead of itself, great job all.
