 What is New Rock Edge?

The purpose of the show New Rock Edge is to broaden the horizon of music today and to make you think and reflect on what is going around us, whether it has been recent or has lasted over the last thousand years! Yeah, no hyperbole!

New Rock Edge is a show that is principally based on two main factors: lyrics and music hirstory.  This show focuses on four main categories:

• message interpretation through lyrics of songs
• applying and discussing messages from the songs played
• examining the history of a spotlighted artist/band and their contributions to music and life today
• examining generalized topics relating to the music of today

 Why Should YOU listen to New Rock Edge?

If you like listening to new rock of today, listening to strange but true stories no matter how stretched out they might seem to be, and debating on random topics (you decide the level of randomness), then be sure to tune in every Friday from 6:00-7:30 pm.  Check it out!

The Face behind New Rock Edge

All right, I’ll try to write this as best as I can without making it sound like a dating profile...

Yash Parmar --->  If you were to look me up in the dictionary, I wouldn’t be there because there’s no such thing as a human dictionary...unless there’s a stalker among us...but asides from that, I’m a huge music fanatic, particularly in the new rock section, and would be able to answer a lot of questions...people actually have asked me so that’s how I know.  Music is a strong part of my life, I listen to it, I write it, I reherse it, and I do anything for it.  I like to try and live my life according to my passions and through that come out the best of me.  Other little tidbits I guess to add would be kind, caring, determined (wow, that sounds so studious), chill, and approachable.  Feel free to talk to me, for that's probably the best way to actually get to know the real me.  Rock on!
