Welcome to Verses From the Abstract, a place where lyrical talent comes first and
record label promotion means nothing. For one hour straight you will hear the best
of what hip hop has to offer, from established names in hip hop to up-and-comers
looking to make their mark on the scene. I’ll be here to offer some background on
each artist and provide insight into the lyrics behind the song. My hope is that you
will come away from each show having learned something new about the artists
