Attention Hits Fans!!
I meant hits and hidden gems fans, but if your a fan of hits, that's acceptable too.
Last weeks show (I know it feels like ages ago) was an overwhelming success. I introduced my new artist of the week, Xaphoon Jones and his first mixtape. Just a solid piece of literature. On it we heard some great mash ups of Led Zeppelin and Birdman, MGMT and Bob Marley, Radiohead and Kanye West, Chiddy Bang and awesomeness, and of course the great Marvin Gay with a fat beat beneath him.
Between all the insanity and spewing of awesomeness, we had time to squeeze in a few hidden gems too. We heard some Biggie, sublime, Jay-z, Down with Webster (please come back to Laurier), IllScarlett, classified, asher roth, jimi hendrix, black keys, alexisonfire and many, many more. (BTW if any of you came to laurier that'd be dope, I didn't mean to single out DWW, sorry if I hurt your feelings other artists, because I know you all read my blog religiously)
Anyways to sum up a good time was had by all. So come join the fun mondays noon to 2. mondays noon to 2. mondays noon to 2. mondays noon to 2. mondays noon to 2. mondays noon to 2. there i said it 7 times, remember.
So monday, wake up, but dont feel like sh** because the weekend is done and you have the whole week ahead of you, be merry, you still have the hits and the hidden gems. so tune in.

Thanks for tuning in yesterday Laurier nation. Hope you enjoyed the awesomeness explosion that took place in the studio between noon and 2. And if you weren't listening.... shame on you. But just cause I like you I'll post up some of the music I play for you guys.

Some other artist I unveiled hidden gems for included the Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, The Raconteurs, Nirvana, Shwayze, Lil' Wayne, Wale and Jay Z. If you like any of these artists tune in next week for more. And if you dont... you should probably get that checked out.
ALSO, do not forget to write in your suggestions for wicked sick awesome dope DJ names for me (they do not need to start with the letters DJ) and any suggestions you may have for hidden gems that I have not already thought of (highly unlikely).
