The Global Underground: Australia/New Zealand
I come from a land down unda! ...well, not actually...
And what’s with Aussie’s and their vegemite anyway? From what I’ve heard, it really doesn’t taste that good… but I guess I’ve never tasted it so I shouldn’t judge… that and kangaroo jerky… WTF, mate?!
But anyway… what a great show last week! This post comes a tad late but, thanks for listening last week and hopefully you liked some the music from Australia AND New Zealand that I picked out… and if not, that’s just too bad.
Also, I completely forgot to give a shout out to “Summer Heights High” on the show!! One of the best mockumentaries ever... Chris Lilley is the funniest thing out of Australia since this kid, and his show ‘Summer Heights High’ is hilarious… watch it if you can! Get a taste of it here, here, and here.
For a complete tracklist from this show as well as past shows... check out the Global Underground facebook group HERE.
Be sure to listen this thursday for the NEW YORK CITY show... It's gonna be off the hoooook!!!

The Global Underground: Southern USA
Thanks again to everyone who listened…
I tried to kick you some funky folk and rocking… rock… music from the southern US of A, and hopefully you loved every hot, sticky minute of it (…that’s what she said), AND got a great taste of some of the awesome indie that has come out of such a passionate culture thick and rich with a history of good music. Rock n’ Roll was born in the south, out of the beautifully grimy blues music that called out from the men and women forced to work as slaves in that place… and don’t you forget it.

The Global Underground: England
Show number two is done and done.
England has been conquered.
The great city of London... sacked.
It was a vicious battle, but I think we definitely came out on top and made away with the best of it. If there’s one thing that the Brits know how to do, it’s make good music, and I think their history is proof of that. Hopefully I could offer you guys a taste of the independent England... the new England that has been built on the shoulders of the great rock acts of the past.
Anyway... here are the songs... hope you all had fun... I know I did.

Thanks to everyone who listened! And for all of you who didn't... tsk tsk… I’m not mad, just disappointed. And check below for all that you missed!
Would you say it was a successful first adventure? Canada's wild wild West and Van-City provided plenty of great tracks and as I promised, here they all are. I'm going to try and do this each week after every show.
Next week is England and all things British, It's going to be a good one... I can feel it...
